Night of Nostalgia: School's Back in Session for Grown Ups

Get ready to rewind time and relive your favorite school-day memories—this time, with a cocktail in hand! Join us for an adults-only evening of fun and giving at the Magic City Discovery Center as we transform the entire museum into a playful throwback to your school days.

This special fundraising event includes:

--An elevated school lunch from local favorite Bones BBQ, served cafeteria-style—just like you remember, but way more delicious.

--A signature cocktail, crafted exclusively for the event and included with your ticket!

--A professional portrait session with Hint of Whimsy Photography—whether you strike a solo pose, bring your "prom date," or gather a group of friends, your class photo will be one to remember.

--A nostalgic art project to take home—because who doesn’t love a good craft?

--Themed games and hands-on activities spread throughout all four floors of the Discovery Center.

From racing up the Magic Climber for gym class bragging rights, to dancing the night away on our rooftop patio with Legion of Sound playing your favorite old school hits, this evening is all about playful memories and making new ones.

Whether you were the teacher’s pet or class clown, come celebrate, support, and explore in a whole new way—all proceeds help support future exhibits, programs, and access initiatives at the Discovery Center.
